A Family Vegetable Garden (3 hour family workshop) April 29 from 10:00-2:00

Growing your own food can be healthy fun for the whole family. This workshop will bring out the natural gardener within those who love to play in the dirt. There is a real sense of satisfaction for children that comes from starting with seeds, caring for plants, and sharing the produce at the table. We will discuss crops that are relatively easy to grow, have a short growing season, and are fun to harvest and eat. The approach for the workshop will be learning by seeing and doing.
